CAPRICORN WOMAN IN LOVE:
The love of a Capricorn woman is hard to find in any other sign. This woman takes the field of love very seriously, and it’s not a game at all to her. She wants someone who can be proper, show’s a strong love and respect for their family and knows a strong right from wrong. Ultimately she wants a family and to be safe and secure in every sense of the word. If you’re looking for a real relationship and a lasting one, she’s the one for you. Capricorn women build walls around themselves, because we know that not everyone can be trusted and we’ve learned that not everything and everyone is what they seem. The key to getting into her heart is being loyal, mean what you say and show it. She’s tough and can be intimidating to some, but on the inside she’s anything but. Once she can trust you, there’s nothing that will stop her from showing how much. Break those walls and watch her melt into your arms.

adolphe-bouguereau:

Nymphs and Satyr - (1873)

Four nymphs tease and play with a satyr by trying to pull him into a lake. One nymph waves behind to three other nymphs in the distance, perhaps beckoning them to come and play with the satyr as well. The satyr half heartedly tries to resist the nymph’s wiles, entranced by their beauty. Nymphs are from Greek mythology. They are considered to be minor female deities, and have a duty to protect different elements of nature such as streams, mountains and meadows (pantheon). The male counterpart for a nymph is a satyr. A satyr is a creature also from Greek mythology having the torso and face of a man, ears and tail of a horse, and feet of a goat. They are known for being lustful and fertile creatures. Bouguereau captures an incredible sense of motion in this piece. One can feel the struggle for the satyr to keep his ground, and the nymphs’ joyous struggle to pull him in.

A 14 year-old boy was recently raped at knife-point by a 20 year-old woman. When the story broke, it was primarily men who claimed he should have enjoyed it. It was feminists who validated his pain and spoke in support of him.

This is why we need feminism.

Another image of Kazuo Ōno by Kevin Bubriski.

From Wikipedia:

Kazuo Ōno (1906-2010) was a Japanese dancer who became a guru and inspirational figure in the dance form known as Butoh. It was written of him that his very presence was an “artistic fact.”

He is the author of several books on Butoh, including The Palace Soars through the Sky, Dessin, Words of Workshop, and Food for the Soul. The latter two were published in English as Kazuo Ōno’s World: From Without & Within (2004). In October 2006, soon after Ōno's 100th birthday, Kyoto-based publisher Seigensha released a photography book in homage to Ōno featuring the works of Eikoh Hosoe entitled The Butterfly Dream.

Ōno once said of his work: “The best thing someone can say to me is that while watching my performance they began to cry. It is not important to understand what I am doing; perhaps it is better if they don’t understand, but just respond to the dance.”
